five and fourteen should be cotrolled by their parents when they play videogames because it is very easy to be come addicted to them. Kids can spend hours playimg videogames if nobody controls them. Some videogames are a bad influence or violent and children can get bad habits. Lots of videogames are not suitable for children but the parents do not realise this.I strongly belibe that children play videogames all day and they do not study or do their homework and their school marks get worse and for their future, this can cause problems. Sometimes the parents do not realise this because they are working or they do not know if the children are working or playing videogames.
Moreover it is an expensive hobby because first you buy the videogame console, secondly you must buy the games. The videogame console could about 200€ and the videogames could cost about 50€ each. For this reason it is a very expensive hobby.
In conclusion, videogames can be bad for you if you do not use them carefully. And you waste a lot of money. The parents should know what their kids are doing in their free time
